For most of human history, money was something you could weigh in your hand. Then it became paper. Then it became a database entry at a bank you have never visited, run by people you will never meet, backed by assets nobody is allowed to audit.

We are building the opposite of that.

Rearden Metals exists to make precious metals as accountable as the open ledgers that made transparent record-keeping possible. Every bar we cast, every coin we strike, every kilogram of silver we receive is documented, signed, stamped and permanently published. Not in a PDF on our marketing page. On chain. Where nobody — including us — can quietly edit it later.

We believe the bullion industry's deepest sickness is underallocation: vendors selling claims on metal they do not possess. The cure is not regulation. The cure is sunlight. So every Friday we publish a Silver Stock Report — inventory on hand, materials on purchase orders, customer obligations, bank balances — and we sign it with the keys of the company that minted the bar in your hand.

This is what it means to be part of the honest.money ecosystem: refusing the convenient opacity that protects bad operators, and trading it for a discipline that makes good operators provable.

We are a small mint in Singapore. We will not be the industry's biggest. We intend to be the industry's most accountable — and to make that the only thing the next generation of customers, dealers and regulators considers acceptable.
